Parks . . . A Gathering Place in Highlands Ranch
The Metro District features 22 parks in the community. From
the popular neighborhood parks nestled around the community to the larger community
parks that feature diverse amenities, there are parks for all outdoor interests.
Children and adults can splash in outdoor
fountains and streams, fish at Redstone Pond, play a variety of sports, or toss
a Frisbee. Visitors to parks can also hop on a skateboard at two
facilities, climb on playground equipment that is inspected on a weekly basis,
or play with the family dog at one of four dog off-leash areas in the community.
Check out the links to the left for more details
about Highlands Ranch parks and outdoor recreation facilities.
Highland Heritage Regional Park, located near
University & Quebec behind the Highlands Ranch Post Office, is owned and managed
by the Douglas County Division of Parks & Trails. Click
