NEW! Fall Youth Baseball

The Metro District’s fall baseball program is a competitive level of play geared towards the intermediate or advanced player or team. This league is for players and teams that are looking to play more baseball and continue developing their skills. All registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to submit your registration early. Leagues fill up fast, so sign up early.

Fee: Resident: $125 Non-resident: $144

Sunday games at Redstone Park.
Registration ends Wednesday, August 4.
Practices begin the week of August 16.
Games will begin Sunday, August 29. (No games September 5)
Picture day will be Sunday, September 19.

League fee does not include pictures.

League fee includes: Eight games, a post-season single elimination tournament, one practice per week, game balls and team equipment. Teams must provide their own uniforms.

Baseball League for 15 & 16 year olds

This ten-game league will be geared toward the recreational player. Two practices per week will be held for the first three weeks. After that, there will only be games. Games will be played Monday and/or Saturday evenings.

The season is currently underway.


Metro State College - Baseball/Softball
Camps & Clinics

Registration ends Friday, May 28
The Highlands Ranch Metro District, in conjunction with the Metropolitan State College of Denver baseball and softball teams, will offer pre-season player and coach programs for new to experienced players.

Fee: Resident: $25 Non-resident: $29


Pre-Season Player Camp

The emphasis is on basic skills, good fundamentals and sportsmanship. Players will be instructed on hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, and various drills to enhance your skills before the season starts. Players
will be divided into groups based on age and skill level.

Softball Pitching/Catching Clinic (Girls’ Fastpitch)

This clinic will provide instruction for proper pitching form, control
of pitches and drills to help you use throughout the season. Catchers will learn the fundamentals of setting up for a pitch, quick release
for throwing out runners and blocking skills. Pitchers are encouraged
to bring their own catchers. This can be your own catcher or a
parent/coach.

Baseball & Softball - Pre-season Coaches Clinics

With an emphasis on basic skills, good fundamentals, sportsmanship and just plain fun, coaches will learn baseball the way the game should be played. Coaches will be instructed on correct pitching form, catching, hitting, fielding, and various drills to use during practice.

Summer – Baseball

The Metro District's T-ball, baseball and softball programs are for recreation level play with a focus on learning skills, game fundamentals, rules, making friends, and having fun.
