The Metro District’s youth flag football leagues are for recreation level play with a focus on learning skills, game fundamentals, making friends and having fun. Teams play non-contact, 5-vs-5 games on a 60-yard field where the basics of football are learned and good sportsmanship is promoted. This program is for boys and girls ages 5 to 14 (as of September 15, 2009).

Practices begin the week of August 10.
Games begin Saturday, August 22.
Picture day is Saturday, August 29.

League fee includes a jersey, practices, eight games and field use.

4th Annual Youth Flag Football Pre-Season Camp
Former professional quarterback TJ Rubley and the Highlands Ranch Metro District will host the Fourth Annual Youth Flag Football Pre-season Camp. This non-contact camp will teach athletic skills, football skills, flag football formations, life skills, and are a blast for all kids five to 14 years old. The camp is recommended for all participants of the Metro District Youth Flag Football league as well as individuals interested in learning more about flag football.
