Girls Youth Lacrosse Camp

Learn the game of lacrosse, one of the fastest growing team sports. The Metro District, in conjunction with ThunderRidge High School Coach, Alanna Gilbertson, will offer an introductory/intermediate youth lacrosse camp this summer. The camp is geared toward the beginner or intermediate player to teach or reestablish the fundamentals of catching and throwing, ground balls, cradling, shot selection, checking and field position. Fundamentals will be reiterated in drills, and advanced techniques will be introduced aimed at increasing a player’s capabilities. All campers will be required to bring a mouthpiece and a stick. Camp is held at Redstone Park.
