Aquafina MLB Pitch, Hit & Run

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. at Northridge Park, Field #1.

The Aquafina Pitch, Hit, & Run event is a free skills competition that provides boys and girls, ages 7 to 14 (age as of July 17, 2009), the opportunity to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities.  Local champions can advance to sectional competitions and become eligible for advancement to team championships at major league ballparks.  Top performers from the team championship level will receive an all expense paid trip to the National Finals to be held during All-Star Week in St. Louis, Missouri.

Players will test their skills in three events:

· Pitching                 
· Hitting                    
· Running

Boys and girls compete together in four age divisions:

· 7 & 8 year olds
· 9 & 10 year olds
· 11 & 12 year olds
· 13 & 14 year olds

The Colorado Rockies Baseball Skills Challenge

Saturday, May 30, 2009
Registration begins at 1 p.m. at Northridge Park.

This skills competition is open to both boys and girls ages 6-13, (age as of December 31, 2009).  Competition will be held at Northridge Park.  The top boy and girl scorer in each age group from each local competition will advance to a sectional competition.  The top boy and girl scorer in each age group at the sectional will then advance to the state competition at Coca-Cola All Star Park on August 8.  All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Players will test their skills in three events:

·  Base Running
·  Batting
·  Throwing

There are four age divisions for both boys and girls:

·  6 & 7 year olds
·  8 & 9 year olds
·  10 & 11 year olds
·  12 & 13 year olds

Hershey Track and Field Meet

Get involved in an exciting program geared toward promoting physical fitness, participation, friendship and sportsmanship. This event is open to boys and girls, ages 9 to 14 (age as of December 31, 2009).  Participants may enter up to three track events of their choice.  Winners will advance to the State Hershey Meet on Saturday, June 20 at French Field in Ft. Collins.  A copy of the participant’s birth certificate must accompany the Hershey Track registration form.  Please call 303-791-2710 for more information.  Please call 720-348-6970 on the day of event for rain-out information.

Registration deadline is Tuesday, May 26.

Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick Competition

Wednesday, September 9
Register beginning at 5 p.m. at Redstone Park
(South green, middle parking lot)

The skills competition is open to both both and girls ages eight through 15 (ages as of December 31, 2009).  Winners from each local competition (one winner from each of the boys' and girls' four age groups) will move on to compete at an assigned sectional competition.

Players will test their skills in three events:
·  Punting
·  Passing
·  Kicking

There are four separate age divisions for both boys and girls:
·  8 & 9 year olds
·  10 & 11 year olds
·  12 & 13 year olds
·  14 & 15 year olds

Important:  Each participant must have on site parental waiver form and copy of their birth certificate.  Only gym shoes may be worn.  Registration will take place at the event.
