CARA Cross Country

All program registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis or until leagues are full.                                                 Wait lists will apply once leagues are full or after the registration deadline.
Late fees – A $15 late fee will apply after the registration deadline.
   
Equipment Running shoes.  Bring plenty of water.
   
Description This program provides youth a recreational distance running experience in a fun, age-appropriate, and skill development based atmosphere.  Teams will compete in 5 meets during the season which runs from August 23 – October 8 with practices on Tuesday and Thursdays.  Meet host sites, dates and distances for events have not yet been determined.  Events will be offered to boys and girls age seven-14, age based on age as of the 10/8/11.  Boys and girls will compete in separate gender and age divisions.  For a detailed list of all track events offered through CARA track, please visit www.caratrack.com.

Practices are held at Highlands Ranch High School Track. Track meets will be on Saturdays at various track sites around Denver.

Description The Highlands Ranch Metro District, in cooperation with Highlands Ranch High School, is offering a summer youth track and field program through the Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA).  This program is for boys and girls ages five through 16 (age as of July 23, 2011) who would like to get involved with a recreational track and field program.
