Ice Ranch Programs

Programs are offered as a partnership of The Ice Ranch and the Metro District. The Ice Ranch is a privately-owned 54,000 square foot ice arena located one mile northwest of C-470. The Ice Ranch features two sheets of ice (one NHL and one ¾ NHL-size) providing youth and adult hockey, curling and specialty skills camps.

Learn to Curl

Participate in the great Olympic sport of curling with your family, friends and neighbors. It’s the sport for anyone age of 18 and older! In this class you will learn how to throw the stones, sweep and the strategy of the game. This two-day, four-hour clinic will prepare you for league play.

Skate into Shape at The Ice Ranch - Ages 18 & older

This is a conditioning program designed to help you burn calories and get in great shape. Focus is on the basic fundamentals of both fitness and skating, including balance skills, forward and backward skating, stopping, turning and agility. All skating abilities are welcome.

Fee: $80 for eight sessions

Ice Camp - Ages 18 & older

How many times have you watched the Zamboni driving around the rink and thought, “I want to drive that thing!” During this two-hour class, you will learn the interesting elements of ice making. You’ll also learn about the Ice Re-Surfacer and its entertaining history – and then you’ll wrap up with driving the Zamboni. You’ll get a t-shirt and certificate to commemorate your participation.

Little Wranglers Learn-to-Skate

Youth of all ages are invited to learn how to skate. We develop basic through advanced skating skills. This is a developmental program for those who want to learn to figure skate, play hockey, or be a recreational skater. We use a progressive system with testing for advancement through levels of competency. Open to children of all ages.

Fee: $70

Wrangler and Rancher Learn to Skate - Parent/Tot

Learn to Skate class focused on parents helping your little ones skate and learn basic skills through games and fun interaction. Open to children of all ages.
