Douglas County Sheriff's Office
The Metro District works closely with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) on several
programs, including the following:

Neighborhood Resource Program
- McGruff
Programs
Also, the Metro District Park Rangers are deputized
to enforce specific state statutes in Highlands Ranch parks, trails and open space.
We also collaborate with the DCSO on a number of other safety education programs.
