How Can You Get Involved?

This page provides resources about a number of ways to get involved in the Highlands Ranch community. 

The Metro District
Serve as a government leader on the Metro District Board of Directors.  Director elections are held in May of even-numbered years.  Occasionally, director positions are available when a former director has moved from the area or resigned from the board.  To learn more about director position opportunities, please contact Terry Nolan at 303-791-0430, ext. 4910, or at tnolan@highlandsranch.org.

HRCA & HRCAA

Highlands Ranch Library
The Highlands Ranch Library offers a wealth of resources about our community.  Contact our local branch at 303-791-7703, or at www.douglascountylibraries.org.

Tri-County Health Department
Serving Douglas County, there are two local offices:  The downtown Castle Rock office is located at 101 Third Street and the northern Douglas County office is in Lone Tree just off Lincoln at 9350 Heritage Hill Circle.  Call the Castle Rock office at 303-663-7650, the Lone Tree office at 303-784-7866, or visit www.tchd.org.

MOMS Club of Central Highlands Ranch is a support group for stay-at-home moms in Highlands Ranch.  We offer playgroups, weekly activities, mom's night out and much more.  This group is for all in the 80126 zip code.  For information, please e-mail chr_momsclub@yahoo.com, or contact Josie Thompson at 303-471-2024. 

The Golden Highlanders is a local organization for people age 55 and older.  Reach them at 303-791-2500.
