Civic Green Park . . . In the Heart of Highlands Ranch
Activities Galore!

Civic Green Park
This special park is a favorite among residents who visit the park with their families.  Civic Green Park is located in the heart of Highlands Ranch near the intersection of Broadway and Highlands Ranch Parkway.  Learn about Civic Green Park's amenities and how to book the park for an event or to reserve a shelter at the park.

Concerts, Events, Fountains & Fun!
Throughout the summer, Civic Green Park is filled with live music, family movies, dance performances, children splashing in the interactive fountains, a wading pool, special events and much more!

Pictured to the left:  Wendy Woo and the Woo Crew were among the first musical groups to perform at Civic Green Park.  Wendy and fellow musicians had family members of all ages on their feet during their lively show!

A Unique Park For the Community

The initial phases of the five-acre park have been completed by the Metro District of Highlands Ranch.  Civic Green Park now hosts family picnics, community events, concerts, and other cultural events.  The p
ark is being built in six phases.  Funding is available, through developer fees, for the park's initial phases, but because this park is different from all others in the community, additional funding is needed to complete all six phases.

The amphitheatre is graced on each side by bright purple penstemon flowers.  Check out the many varieties of drought-tolerant plants that thrive at Civic Green Park.

The monument (at left) sits at the main entrance at Ridgeline Boulevard and Green Ash Street.
Left:  This popular shelter, located at the western edge of the park, sits next to the playground, stream and restrooms.  The shelter houses four picnic tables and has an electrical outlet.  To reserve this or other park shelters, please call the Metro District at 303-791-2710.

Below:  Additional amenities continue to be added to the park.  Stairs are being built to lead visitors from Green Ash Street down to the lawn. This project will also feature a new shelter, benches and trees.  A backstage access drive will enable performers to more easily unload equipment.

The playground at Civic Green Park is filled with children, climbing and bouncing as they play on the popular structures.
Where is Civic Green Park?
Nestled in the Highlands Ranch Town Center, the park site is immediately south of the Highlands Ranch Library.  The Metro District and Douglas County Libraries have worked for several years as partners on Civic Green Park.
