Monument Construction Underway

The Highlands Ranch Veterans Monument (HRVM) is taking shape!  Construction is underway and will be complete in late June.  The next time you visit the Highlands Ranch Library, take a look toward Civic Green Park to see how the monument is coming together.  To date, the concrete has been poured for the plaza, irrigation lines and the stairs have been installed, and the six-foot pedestal, which will hold the bronze eagle, is being built.  Visit www.hrvets.org for photo updates as construction continues.

Fundraising Continues Toward Goal

If you or someone you know is interested in supporting the HRVM, you can help us reach the $200,000 fundraising goal.  To date, $157,196 has been raised, and we hope to reach our goal by the dedication ceremony on Wednesday, July 1.  Tax-deductible Dedication Tiles can still be purchased for veterans or active members of the military.  Dedication Tiles will continue to be installed after the dedication ceremony.  For more information, please contact Marsha Sliter at 720-240-4931, or at msliter@highlandsranch.org, or visit www.hrvets.org
