The Metro District manages 26 public parks and four dog parks in our community. From the popular neighborhood parks nestled around Highlands Ranch to the larger community parks that feature diverse amenities, there are locations for all outdoor interests.

Reservations are available for picnic shelters within our parks. Learn more about park facility reservations and fees.

Playing with Slacklines

Amenity Notes:

  • The Patio – accommodates 100 people
  • Lawn Shelter – accommodates 50 people

Additional Amenities:

  • Tower Plaza with Amphitheater Seating Walls
  • Shade Shelters (not available for reservations)
  • Maze Garden with Interactive Chimes

Slacklining Guidelines:

  • Slacklining is only allowed on slackline poles at Central Park. Slacklines may not be affixed to any other infrastructure including but not limited to trees, buildings, bike racks, handrails, art objects, fences or light poles.
  • Slacklining is only allowed during park hours.
  • Participants and spectators assume all risk associated with slackline activities.
  • All slacklines may be affixed on a temporary basis and may not be left unattended. Unattended equipment will be removed and considered abandoned property.
  • Slacklining is not allowed during permitted events at the park.
