The Metro District is pleased to announce that access to the playground and restroom at Toepfer Park is now open as construction continues in other parts of the park.  

We are excited for people to enjoy the new, improved playground, which includes swings, slides, climbers, a play area for children ages 2-5, and several shade structures.  

From the parking lot of the park, located at 9320 Venneford Ranch Road, temporary access to the playground is via the dirt trail on the east side of the park. Please follow the signs from the parking lot to the playground. Please see the Toepfer Park Playground Opening Map for details. 

The playground is also accessible from neighborhood trails on the north side of the park. The basketball court and ballfields are also open.  

Please obey all construction signs about areas still closed and not accessible to the public. Areas undergoing revegetation will remain closed until the spring of 2026.
