The Metro District is proud to take part in Operation Green Light for Veterans, Nov. 4-11, by illuminating our office buildings in green. This initiative is designed to shine a light on the service of our veterans and their families. We are grateful for all who have served in our nation’s armed forces!

Join us and others in Douglas County by changing one light bulb in the entryway of your house or business to a green bulb this week. By shining a green light, we aim to show our Veterans that they are seen, appreciated, and supported.

Residents can also join us in commemorating Veterans Day from 6:30-8 p.m. on Nov. 11 at the Douglas County Library at Highlands Ranch, 9292 Ridgeline Blvd. All are welcome – learn more details on our Veterans Day Celebration event page.
