The swings at Plum Valley Park have been temporarily removed due to a safety concern. Once repairs are made, they will be reinstalled. At this time, there isn't a time estimate for this repair, but updates will be posted when available.

The Metro District inspects its 22 playgrounds weekly, checking for any hazards or normal wear and tear. Safety is our top priority, and three staff members are Certified Playground Safety Inspectors. This nationally recognized certification ensures staff members have the most up-to-date training on playground safety issues including hazard identification, equipment specifications, surfacing requirements and risk management methods.
