Concrete repair underway at Sand Creek Park

A construction worker spreads concrete for a sidewalk.Concrete repair work will be underway the week of June 22 at Sand Creek Park, 8843 Green Meadows Drive. The park will remain open to visitors. Please be mindful of any coned or fenced-off areas.

Work was also recently completed at Marcy Park, 9373 Desert Willow Road, and Plum Valley Park, 10230 Westridge Village Parkway. Between these two locations, about 3,400 square feet of new sidewalk concrete was poured to target existing problem areas.

Different portions of the hard-surface trail system is our parks are addressed annually based on condition and use, which is part of the Metro District's commitment to maintain an attractive and healthy place to live.
