Summer may be coming to an end, but let's send it off with a celebration. Join the Metro District and the Highlands Ranch Community Association for the Summer Sunset Concert and America 250-Colorado 150 Commemoration drone show on Saturday, Aug. 22 at Civic Green Park, 9380 S. Ridgeline Blvd.
The free concert, featuring the band Ninety2K with music from the '90s and 2000s, will begin at 7 p.m. The drone show will follow the concert around 8:30 p.m. Come early to enjoy dinner from a variety of food trucks, which will begin serving at 6 p.m.
The Stories in the Sky drone show is a signature initiative of the America 250-Colorado 150 Commission and is sponsored by Chevron, Tallgrass, UCHealth, and the Colorado Lottery in partnership with the Colorado Tourism Office.
The best viewing for the drone show will be within Civic Green Park and between Broadway and Dorcester in the Town Center area. See map of viewing area.
Please note: The Highlands Ranch Senior Center parking lot and all lots west of it will be closed for the drone show. The trail adjacent to the Senior Center will also be closed.
Parking will be available in the RTD parking lot at Ridgeline and Zotos Drive, or the parking garage located on Blake between Ridgeline and Highlands Ranch Parkway. Also, please be aware that Civic Green Park has a strict no dogs policy.
